Integrations

Works where your team already is

Feedback tools sync to your tracker. Sayr is the tracker, so GitHub, Discord and your terminal feed straight into the backlog your team works from.

GitHub

Ship in GitHub, and your users see it

Name a branch after a task and it's linked. Merge the pull request and the task moves to Done, so its public post shows it shipped. Issues opened on public repos become tasks too.

Discord

Take reports from your community

Run /sayr create, fill in your template, and the task lands on your board. The bot keeps a post in your channel up to date.

API and SDK

Put your roadmap on your own site

Read your public tasks and stream live updates with the TypeScript SDK, or call the REST API.

// Your public tasks
const tasks = await Sayr.org
  .tasks.list("doras");

// Live updates as they change
Sayr.sse(eventsUrl, {

The best of both worlds

For teams

Built for real teams

Decide who can do what, keep your public pages clean, and keep internal talk away from your users.

Teams and permissions

Give each team exactly what it needs

Put people in teams and switch on what each one can do. Members get every permission their teams grant, like roles on Discord.

Moderation permissions

Internal and public

Internal talk stays internal

Tasks, labels and comments can each be private. Your team works in the same thread your users read, and they only see what you made public.

How visibility works

Yours to run

Source-available, self-hostable, made in the EU

Run Sayr on your own servers, or let us host it in the EU. Either way, the code is public and nothing locks you in.

Self-host

Run it on your own servers

Sayr's source code is public on GitHub under the Sustainable Use License. Read it, fork it, and self-host it with Docker Compose.

  • Community edition is free: unlimited members, teams and releases
  • Enterprise edition for unlimited organizations
  • Postgres, Redis and storage, all in one compose file

Sayr Cloud

Or use our cloud, hosted in the EU

Sayr is built by Doras Media Ltd, an Irish company. Sayr Cloud runs on European infrastructure, and your workspace data is stored on EU servers.

  • Databases and compute on Zerops, Czechia
  • Files on Hetzner, Germany and Finland
  • Static assets through Bunny CDN, Slovenia
  • AI runs on Mistral in France, through an EU-only gateway

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What makes Sayr different from Linear or Jira?

Linear and Jira are internal-only tools: your users never see your board. Sayr has the same project management basics (boards, releases, priorities, GitHub integration) and adds a public portal where your users can view tasks, vote, post feedback and follow progress. You choose exactly what's visible.

How does Sayr compare to Canny or Nolt?

Canny and Nolt collect feedback, but the work happens in another tool, so you sync the two. In Sayr, a user's post is a task on your board. When you move it to Done, your users see it shipped, with nothing to copy across.

Is it free to self-host?

Yes. The Community edition is free to self-host with Docker Compose, with unlimited members, teams and releases on a single organization. The Enterprise edition is licensed and adds unlimited organizations.

Does Sayr include AI?

Yes, on the Pro plan. Sayr summarises each task, suggests assignees, priority, releases and related tasks, and drafts release notes from what you shipped. Self-hosted instances can turn AI on with their own API key.

What does Sayr integrate with?

GitHub (branches, pull requests and issues linked to tasks), a Discord bot for creating tasks, the sayr CLI, a REST API and a TypeScript SDK. Every integration is included on every plan.

How does visibility work?

Visibility is set per item. Each task can be public or private, and private tasks are hidden from your users entirely. Labels have their own visibility, so a public 'Bug' label can sit next to a private 'Needs review' one. Comments can be public or internal, and internal comments are only visible to your team.

Can my users create accounts?

Yes. Your users sign in on your public portal to post bug reports and feature requests, vote, and leave public comments. They never see internal data.

Where is my data stored?

On Sayr Cloud, workspace data is stored on EU servers: databases on Zerops in Czechia and files on Hetzner in Germany and Finland. Our subprocessors page lists every provider. If you self-host, your data stays wherever you run Sayr.

What tech stack does Sayr use?

TypeScript throughout: React 19 with TanStack Start for the frontend, Hono on Bun for the API, PostgreSQL with Drizzle ORM, Server-Sent Events for real-time updates, and Better Auth for authentication.

Stop hiding your roadmap. Start building transparently.

Source available. Self-hostable. Cloud available. Give your users the visibility they deserve.
